In the late 1970s, she moved to Greeley, Colorado, where she worked for the Board of Chiropractic Examiners. In 1983, she moved to Tustin where she lived with her daughter, Susan Eklof, and she took a job with Tustin Meadows Owners Association. Later, she worked part-time at Mervyn’s Department Store for 16 ½ years and continued to volunteer with the Tustin Library until she was 94 years old.
