My deepest sympathy to the family. Vikki was such an Amazing mother and friend. She helped me with my kids and loved them so. She was always so funny and had a way to make you feel at home. Her family was number 1 and of course football!!! Lol she will never be forgotten. I'm so happy that I was able to have her in my life for a few good years. ♥️

John, Amy, and Johnny, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Vikki was a beautiful person, inside and out, and will truly be missed.

So many memories...bowling league on Friday nights (we were the Alley Oops!), camping, garage sales, lunches where we would go to our favorite restaurants for cheesy broccoli soup and pie a la mode. After the Lahr family moved to California, I went for a visit. Vikki and I went into a shop that had a couple of mannequins lounging on a beach. We imagined they were on a beach in Jamaica and vowed that one day WE would be the "Jamaican dummies" on the beach. From that day forward, we always referred to each other as JD buddies...so rest in peace my JD buddy, I love you! ~Rose

My deep deep condolences to the Lahr family: May you reflect on the precious memories that you have made with your loved one. Losing a loved one can cause so so much sadness and pain of heart. So, I would like to share what helped us when our precious daughter died and later when my precious husband fell asleep in death due to cancer. I appreciated the calls and visits from people from all over. But I also, recall just sitting down and reading different Scriptures and meditating on them. It was so comforting to read that God cares for us personally... (1Peter 5:6, 7). Yes, He cares, He sees our pain. And, He Jehovah God will in His due time do away with All sicknesses & death (Isaiah 33:24 & Isaiah 25:8). He is indeed a God of comfort. Oh, wow He promises the hope of seeing our precious loved ones again (John 5:28, 29) and says where (Psalms 37:11). He always keeps His word. I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to me.
