Ada Lerwick

Ada Henrietta (Anderson) Lerwick, 95, of Laramie, Wyoming, died May 20, 2012, at Hillsboro, Oregon. She was born November 19, 1916, to Gilbert and Helen (Ambrosen )Anderson in Forest City, Iowa. She married Orville W. Lerwick on November 11, 1942, in Mason City, Iowa. They farmed and raised their family in Albin, WY. Upon retirement in 1979, they moved to Pine Bluffs, WY. When Orville died in 2004, Ada moved to the Ivinson Home for Ladies in Laramie. Mrs. Lerwick is survived by three sons, Keith and Norma of Cheyenne, Wayne and Karen of Albin, and Eldon and Coreen of Spearfish, SD; one daughter, Marilyn "Joanie" and Dave Jossi of Hillsboro, OR; a son-in-law, Robert Berwick of Laramie, WY; 15 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville; her daughter, Kathleen Berwick; sister, Selma Holcomb; and grandson, Justin Lerwick. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 25, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the Pine Bluffs Community Center. An interment service will follow at the Pine Bluffs Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Ada's memory may be made to the Davis Hospice Center, 6000 Sycamore, Cheyenne, WY 82009.
