Albert J. Zipay, 94, of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, died peacefully in Cheyenne on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Albert was born August 17, 1921, in Clifton, New Jersey, a son of the late John and Anna (Serenci) Zipay. Albert worked as a mechanical engineer for Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation in New Jersey, and he held numerous patents in his name. His other interests included golfing, bowling and playing tennis. He is survived by his wife, Lenora Zipay of Pine Bluffs; two children, Elizabeth Roadifer and husband, Gary, of Pine Bluffs, and Albert Zipay (aka Alan Stark) of Seattle, WA; two grandsons, Justin Roadifer and wife, Karla, of Cheyenne, and Eric Roadifer of Pine Bluffs; and three great-grandchildren, Jaden, Rhianna and Cameron Roadifer, off of Cheyenne. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marie Kovacs and Emily Zipay. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. An interment will be held at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery in Clifton, New Jersey.
