Alexis A. Carter, 67, of Cheyenne passed away September 8, 2017 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born February 2, 1950 in Chicago, IL to Alexander and Frances (McClaugry) Mitchell. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter-day Saints, Eastridge Ward. Alexis worked at IYAH Learning Center, cooking meals and touching the lives of hundreds of families and their children from 2009-2014. She enjoyed spending time with her 5 grandchildren doing various craft projects, making jewelry and putting together large puzzles. She will be dearly missed by the lives that she touched and her furry companion, CoCo. We love you and miss you, Mom. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Brandon) Kramer of Cheyenne and Heather Hodgman of Mesa, AZ; sister, Sharon Tuttle of Louisville, TX; grandchildren, Coledon Kramer, Eli Kramer, Baylee Hodgman, Nolan Kramer and Adalyn Kramer. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in memory of Alexis to the American Heart Association or the American Lung association.
