Alice Mary Huffer, 96, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Life Care Center of Cheyenne. Mrs. Huffer was born July 16, 1919, in Sayerville, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Harold and Martha (Litz) Blaise. Alice enjoyed taking care of her home and her family. She formerly attended the Assembly of God Church and more recently attended the First Baptist Church. Her many interests included sewing, embroidery, cooking, listening to George Strait, and collecting Precious Moments. She will also be remembered for pink being her favorite color. Alice is survived by her children, Richard Huffer of Cheyenne, Doris Gisi of Ft. Collins, CO, and Fran Sturgeon of Cheyenne; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Huffer; a brother, Alfred Litz; and a sister, Elsie Cotton. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A private interment service will be held at the Lakeview Cemetery.
