Alice Roach

Alice Elisabeth Roach nee Galbreath died March 15, 2011 at Life Care Center of Cheyenne. She was born July 1, 1918 in Newport News, Virginia to Dr. and Mrs., William, R. (Pearl Boutwell) Galbreath. She graduated from Wooster High School in 1935 and the Women's college of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1939. She received her Master's degree in 1969 from Bloomsburg State University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. She has lived in Cheyenne since 2003. She is survived by one daughter Mary (Edward) Raner of Cheyenne; four grandchildren John (Susan) Raner of Cheyenne, Floyd (Milissa) Raner of Cheyenne, GySgt Rebekah (Daniel) Hasbrouck, USMC of Stuttgart, Germany and Edward Raner of Colorado; six great grandchildren Jessica, Mariah, Gabriel, Asher, Isac and Cordelia. One brother, Dr. John W. (Eleanor) Galbreath of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and one sister Jean (Donald) Jennings of Gainesville, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother William R. Galbreath and her daughter Jean Elisabeth. Burial services will be private .
