"Pants"
Amanda Gail Pierce (Adsit), fondly known as "Pants," was a cherished member of the community who dedicated 22 years of her life to being a talented Vet Tech. For two decades, she poured her heart and soul into the Frontier Veterinary Clinic, where she not only cared for numerous animals but also touched the lives of many people along the way.
Born on September 20, 1978, in North Platte, NE, Amanda's love for animals and passion for helping others guided her throughout her life. After graduating from East High School, she went on to earn an Associates Degree of Science from Eastern Wyoming College, specializing in Animal Sciences.
Amanda's vibrant personality radiated through her love for animals, concerts, motorcycles, camping, and cherished moments at the cabin with family and friends. She was a beacon of warmth and comfort, always ready with a laugh and unwavering in her commitment to protecting those she held dear.
On April 23, 2024, Amanda passed away peacefully at her home in Cheyenne, WY, surrounded by her loved ones—a testament to the profound impact she had on all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Justin Pierce, daughter Emma Pierce, son Hayden Pierce, parents Tim and Peggy Adsit, brother Mark Adsit, grandmother Pauline Bookout, grandmother JoAnn Fowler, in-laws Charlie and Dixie Pierce, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins; brothers-in-law; and countless close friends who were like family to her ("Framily"). Among those who preceded her in death are her grandfather Joe Bookout, grandfather Jim Adsit, and aunt Susan Bookout.
One of Amanda's proudest accomplishments was building a loving family with her husband Justin and raising two beautiful children. Her legacy of compassion and joy will continue to live on through those whose lives she touched.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on June 22, 2024. The event will take place at American Legion Post 6 in Cheyenne, WY. Celebrations will begin at 12:00 PM to honor the remarkable life of Amanda Gail Pierce.
