Amanda L. White, 28, of Cheyenne passed away April 8, 2014 in Cheyenne. She was born October 21, 1985 in Cheyenne to Billy and Connie White. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 2004, went on to attend and graduate Magna Cum Laude from Johnson and Wales University with degrees in Culinary Arts and Culinary Nutrition. After graduation she worked in Alaska and in Vail resorts returning to Cheyenne as a chef at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was an avid snowboarder, hunter and drummer. Most of all, she loved her family and friends. She is survived by her parents, Billy and Connie White of Cheyenne; siblings, Hilary White, Anne (Justin) Ochsner, and John Hughes all of Cheyenne; grandmother, Emma White of Linton, IN; aunts, Jodi Milbourn and Laurie Sherman of Cheyenne; uncle, Larry (Pam) Milbourn of Cheyenne; nieces and nephews, Landen, Kierstyn, Kaitlyn and Kimberlyn Ochsner and Jaden Sherman; several cousins and her special friend and cat, Bella also known as Nubbin. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Guy White and T. Joe and Anna Anderson. Those who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Society or the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. Visitation will be Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Beth El Cemetery. Services are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
