Annabelle Brookshire

Miss Annabelle Leigh Brookshire, 6, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 6, 2014. Annabelle was born June 10, 2008, in Colorado Springs, daughter of Keith and Brooke (Lakko) Brookshire. Annabelle attended Pioneer Park Elementary School where she loved to learn and read. She was an energetic little girl who loved to sing, dance, swing, run and hold hands. Her favorite color was all of the colors of the rainbow, and her infectious smile was intentional because she was always happy. She loved being a big sister. Her kindness and helpfulness were felt by all. She enjoyed eating candy, picking up rocks and seashells, and spending time with her family. Annabelle is survived by her parents, Keith and Brooke Brookshire; her little sister, Kora Brookshire; paternal grandparents, Emmett and Mary Brookshire of Balsam, NC; maternal grandmother, Sherry Lakko of Billings, MT; and loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, September 13, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7721 Badger Road, with Bishop John Russell officiating. An interment service will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
