Anne Czerwinski

Her remains will be accompanied by her son to be interred with her husband’s at a later date at Holy Rood Cemetery in Long Island, New York. Anne Czerwinski, a long time resident of Long Island, New York, and a new resident of Sierra Hills Assisted Living Community in Cheyenne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, surrounded by her family at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Anne was born on November 23, 1922, and raised in New York City and graduated from high school in Brooklyn, New York. She was one of five children born to the late Anthony and Kataryna Kovel and was the beloved wife of Sigmund Czerwinski for 48 years at the time of his death in 2006. Anne will forever be remembered by her son Stephen, daughter-in-law Jacqueline, grandchildren Sarah Barrett, Charity and John Czerwinski, niece Katherine Carney, nephews Anthony and Tim Kovel, many caring in-laws, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Anne was known as a strongly patriotic American and faithful Christian who loved to dance the Polka, enjoyed Polish and Ukrainian ethnic fare, had a keen interest in politics, and was known as a very generous, loving and kind-hearted person by all those who knew her.
