Anne Wills

Anne W. Wills, 97, of Cheyenne died Friday, Dec 21 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wills was born on March 4, 1915 in Whittier,CA, the daughter of John Joseph and Edna Pauline (Lee) Phelan. On June 9, 1943 she married William T. "Bill" Wills in Whittier, CA. Following Bill's retirement in 1973, she and Bill retired to their ranch at Bondurant, WY. They returned to Cheyenne in 1982. Anne was an avid golfer with a "hole in one". Anne was also an avid outdoors woman - riding horses, fishing and hunting. She shot her own elk when on the ranch in Bondurant. Anne is survived by a sister Vivienne Walton of Fresno, CA. Also surviving are nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2007 and her parents. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Beth El Cemetery. Schrader Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
