Anthony Slater

Anthony Charles Slater, 64, of Cheyenne passed away November 23rd, 2021 at his home.

Anthony was born July 11, 1957 in Los Angeles, California to Charles Slater and Cynthia Mays (Myree). Anthony graduated from Central High School and ran track and field. Anthony worked for many years at Burlington Northern Railroad. He was an avid fisherman.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Cynthia Mays; children, Michael Carrera, daughter, Zoe Slater; siblings, Deborah R. (Michael) Mays Marlin of Georgia, Katrina E. Vaughn of Maryland, and Leonard Lenny Mays of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Devon, Dante, and Michael Taylor Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Charles Anthony Slater; and daughter, Terri MCIntyre-Taylor.

Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, located at 2222 Russell Avenue, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
