Antonia "Becky" Kithas

Antonia "Becky" Kithas, 87, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. Mrs. Kithas was born November 30, 1927, in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of the late James and Kaliroe (Mentanis) Comas. Becky married Pete J. Kithas on September 5, 1948, and she worked at the University of Wyoming Alumni Office and the campus library. They moved to Denver in 1958 and she worked at the Bishop Machebeuf Catholic High School until their move to Cheyenne in 1967. In 1974, she worked for the Wyoming Legislative Service Office until her retirement in 1987. Her many interests included playing bridge, gardening, knitting, and was an avid fisherman. She was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church and she spent countless hours volunteering for the church. She also enjoyed being a seamstress and traveling with her family. Becky is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Pete J. Kithas; two daughters, Karen Kithas of Kaycee, WY, and Joni Harlan and husband, Tom, of Kaycee; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Nick and Pete Comas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. A Trisagion Service will follow on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, June 25th at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church. An interment service will follow at Beth El Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Becky's name may be made to Sts.
