April Henderson

April Lynne (Casey) Henderson, 49, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away early Wednesday morning, November 20, 2013, at the Davis Hospice Center. April was born March 30, 1964, in East Chicago, Indiana, a daughter of the late John William and Betty Jo (Minder) Casey. April was a loving mother and grandmother who cared for her family and friends. She was an incredibly strong-willed and independent woman whose determination and courage was demonstrated throughout her life and recent illnesses. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. April is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Conrick of Cheyenne; two sons, Robert Henderson of Lawton, OK, and Christopher Henderson of Ft. Hood, TX; two sisters, Debra Trawick and Donna Sue Braden; two brothers, Bruce Minder and Bryan Casey; six grandchildren; and her former husband, Robert Henderson. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Casey. Private family services will be held in Indiana at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy in April's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
