Arlene Hayes

Arlene Pugh Hayes, 99, of Cheyenne, WY formerly of Damascus, passed away on November 1, 2016 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Cheyenne. Mrs. Hayes was born September 30, 1917 in Konnarock, VA to John Emmitt and Bessie (Yates) Pugh. She married Edgar Lee Hayes on December 24, 1940 in Johnson County, TN and was a homemaker. She was a member of Konnarock Baptist Church and attended North Cheyenne Christian Church while in Cheyenne. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Leavitt and son-in-law, Herb Leavitt of Cheyenne; brother, Joseph (Helen) Pugh of Kirkwood, PA; sister, Mary (French) Shumate of Garrett Valley, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Betty Gailblair, and siblings, Lura Trivitt, Gladys Walls, Cecil Pugh, Paul Pugh and Robert Pugh.
