Barbara Black

Barbara A. Black, 74, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Sunday morning, November 12, 2017, at the McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado. Barbara was born January 13, 1943, in Worland, Wyoming, a daughter of the late Carl A. and Doris I. (Erhardt) Metzler. Barbara worked as a receiving manager for Kmart until her retirement in 2004. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Mark) Janicek and Kim (David) Harris; twin sister, Bev Bain; sister, Caroline Vanderslice; four grandchildren, Kelly Soule, Karen Klien, Katie Janicek and Shana Connary; and five great-grandchildren, Deegan, Livian, Tillman, Christopher and Baby Connary. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A memory service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Following cremation, an interment will be held November 25th at 1:00 p.m. in the Worland Cemetery. Donations may be made in Barbara's memory to the charity of one's choice.
