Barbara Goodge

Barbara B. Goodge, 78, of Cheyenne, passed away March 21, 2017 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born September 1, 1938 in New Orleans, LA to Raymond and Louise (Hammett) Beal and had lived in Cheyenne since 1966. She married William Goodge on June 24, 1961 in Central City, CO. They enjoyed 51 years of marriage until his death December 6, 2012. Barbara enjoyed reading, stained glass projects and cross stitching. Her greatest love was to cook and entertain for her family. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Karen (Craig) Wood of Fort Collins, CO; grandchildren, Logan Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Hayden Anderson and Christian Wood; brother & sisters-in-law, Nancy Beal of Highland, MI, Dave & Sharon Lentz on Prescott, AZ and Nadine Bollinger of North Carolina; nephew, James Beal of Sterling Heights, Michigan and several great grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, William Goodge; daughter, Deborah Anderson; brother, James Beal and her parents, Raymond and Louise Beal. Donations may be made to Beaumont Hospital, PO Box 5802, Troy, MI 48007-9627, Memo Line: Kidney Transplant Center & Patient Services #RC766610 in Memory of Barbara Goodge. Private interment of her urn will take place in Mountain View Memorial Park. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
