Barbara Harris

Mrs. Barbara Ann (Laycock) Harris, 70, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, July 25, 2014. Mrs. Harris was born November 26, 1943, in Kimball, Nebraska, a daughter of the late John H. and Geneva B. (Sorenson) Laycock. Barbara will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved having fun. Her many interests included enjoying the outdoors, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Burnell Harris of Cheyenne; two sons, Robert Harris of Laramie, WY, and James Harris of Cheyenne; a brother, Dick Laycock of Cheyenne; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Scott Harris; a daughter, Phyllis Harris; and a brother, John Laycock. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Ave. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, July 31st at 10:00 a.m. at the Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jason Taylor officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home, Cheyenne.
