Barney Horrocks

Barney Martin Horrocks, 79, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Barney was born on September 8, 1937, in Oklahoma where he worked from a very young age. He spent a number of years working for ETMF and later retiring from ABF Trucking. He loved spending time with his family. He also loved sharing stories and had a great passion for music. He was always up for a game of cribbage with his family and friends. He most enjoyed the vacations spent with his family fishing on The Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Barney was extremely caring and always wanted to lend a hand. He is survived by his loving daughter, Cammy (Brad) Kidd; his pride and joys, granddaughter, Jamie Kidd, and grandson, Eric Kidd; three great-grandsons, Bret, Bryson and Brayden; beautiful great-granddaughter, Ivy; sister, Lou Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. He truly enjoyed his last years at Whispering Chase and made new friends, especially his dear friend, Carolyn Simkins. Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
