Beatrice Cromwell

Mrs. Beatrice Louise (Jones) Cromwell, 79, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 20, 2011, at her residence in Cheyenne. Mrs. Cromwell was born August 2, 1931, in Flint, Michigan, a daughter of the late William Lee and Ethel Louise Jones. Beatrice met the love of her life, Thomas Cromwell, on a blind date and were happily married for 62 years. An excellent wife and mother, Beatrice enjoyed caring for her home and family as a homemaker, and she also enjoyed helping in the family business as a secretary. Her many interests included sewing, knitting, outdoor activities such as hunting, watching the Colorado Rockies and The Price is Right, and her membership in T.O.P.S. She will be remembered as fun loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Beatrice is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Cromwell of Cheyenne; her daughter, Diane Martin and husband, Mike, of Cheyenne; her son, Joe Cromwell and wife, Sandy, of Cheyenne; a brother, Donald Jones; five grandchildren, Michael Martin and wife, Amy, Amber Cromwell, Ashley Cromwell, Kendra Cromwell, and David Grimm; and four great-grandchildren, Nichole Latham, K.J. Latham, Michelle Martin, and Diviah Grimm. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Vernon Jones, Harold Jones and James Jones; and a sister, Juanita Jones. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011, from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 24th from 4-8 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel. An interment service will be held at Beth El Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Schrader Reception Facility. Expressions of sympathy in Beatrice's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
