Mr. Bernard J. "Bernie" Kinsella, 85, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Saturday morning, February 8, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bernie was born July 28, 1928, in Padua, Minnesota, son of the late John F. and Mary C. (Krebsbach) Kinsella. Bernie served honorably in both the United States Navy and the United States Air Force, retiring from the Air Force in 1973 after 24 ½ years of service. He also worked for the State of Wyoming as the surplus property manager for 17 years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved to fish, hunt and travel. Bernie is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou Kinsella of Cheyenne, seven children, Theresa (Jack) Jurgens, Rose Todd of Cheyenne, Kathleen (Chris) Bauman of Spring Lake, NC, Michael (Gretta) Kinsella, Sandra (Randy)Tucker of Grand Prairie, TX, James (Cindy) Kinsella of Frankfort, KY and Mary Thompson of Sidney, NE, two step-daughters, Kristen (Tom) Beaupre of Duluth, MN and Lauren (Al) Heikkinen of Ishpeming, MI, a sister, Catherine Schmiesing, two brothers, John Berscheit and Paul (Verda) Berscheit, 29 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Evelyn D. Kinsella, two sisters, Gertrude Weilenberg and Irene Marthaler; two brothers, Robert Kinsella and Lloyd Kinsella, and a grandson, Stephen Anderson. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 11, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home with a Vigil for the Deceased to follow at 6:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 12th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Michael Carr as celebrant. An interment service will be held at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
