Bette Martinez

Bette Jean Martinez, 60, of Cheyenne passed away on May 14, 2016 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born August 30, 1955 in Cheyenne to Alex and Charlotte (Madrid) Cook. She married Pat Martinez on September 27, 1989 in Cheyenne. She retired from the Forestry Service and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Pat G. Martinez of Cheyenne; children Trish (Jeff) Martinez of Salt Lake City, UT and Chris (Bebe) Martinez of Apple Valley, CA; siblings, Thomas (Mollie) Cook of Cheyenne, Timothy Cook of Limon, CO and Denise (Larry) Apodaca of Denver, CO; 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Charlotte Cook; and a brother. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday 2:00 p.m. in the Schrader Reception Center at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
