Betty O'Shea

Betty Neubrecht O'Shea, 82, 0f Cheyenne passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on July 26, 2011. Betty was born January 7, 1929 in Rawlins, Wyoming to Otto I. and Ann ( Engstrom) Sjolin. Betty graduated from Rawlins High School in 1947, attended Denver University and graduated from Woodbury College, Los Angeles, California in 1951. After returning to Rawlins in 1955, she spent most of "working years" at various capacities with Westland Federal Savings and Loan retiring in 1991 when she married Bob O'Shea and moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado. Betty was preceded in death by two husbands, William Robert Neubrecht , whom she married in 1951, he died in 1975; and Francis Robert O;Shea, whom she married in 1991, he died in 2004; her mother and father, Ann Engstrom Sjolin and Otto I Sjolin; and her brother, Otto I (Bud) Sjolin, Jr. She is survived by her two daughters Lea Ann Steward, and Lynn Dahna and husband, Michael, all of Cheyenne; one grandson, William and wife Tina; and two great grandchildren William R., II and Anika Neubrecht of Wheatland, Wyoming. Her family will hold a celebration of Betty's life on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the All Saints Anglican Church. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Davis Hospice Center, 6000 Sycamore, Cheyenne, WY 82009, the All Saints Anglican Church, 1311 Ashford Dr., Cheyenne, WY 82007, or the charity of their choice.
