Betty Schneider

Betty Jo Schneider, 84, died July 1, 2015 in Cheyenne, WY She was born December 20, 1930, in Lyman, Neb., to James and Hazel Mills. She graduated from Lyman Neb. High School. She married Elmer Schneider on July 15, 1951, and had two children, Roger and Craig. Jo was a school teacher at Signal Butte in Neb. Until starting her family. She was a secretary at McCormick Jr. High in Cheyenne for 21 years, until her retirement. Jo enjoyed camping at the lake, gardening, raising orchids, Wyoming Cowboy Athletics, and Boston Terriers. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Elmer Schneider, her two sons and their wives, many nieces and nephews and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday July 10, in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
