Betty Steege

Betty Jane Steege, 83 of Burns, WY passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Mountain Towers Health Care in Cheyenne. Mrs. Steege was born on November 19, 1927 in Burns, WY to Henry P. and Fannie (Barber) Dittmer. She attended and graduated from Carpenter High School in 1945. On June 29, 1947, she married Martin J. Steege in Burns. Mrs. Steege is survived by two sons, David Steege of Burns, WYand James Steege of Hillsdale, WY and one daughter Ruth Manners of Cheyenne. She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Steege is preceded in death by her husband Martin J. Steege , her parents and one brother Herman Dittmer and two sisters Carrie Dittmer and Hazel Dittmer. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 8 at 2 p.m. at the Hillsdale Cemetery with Pastor Andy Moore officiating. Schrader Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
