Beulah Sharp

Beulah Sharp, 81, of Cheyenne died March 27, 2015 in Cheyenne She was born March 4, 1934 in Grand Junction, CO to Vaughn and Agnes Guthrie. She married Cecil Sharp in 1975 in Arkansas. After raising her children, she attended college, received her degree and taught home economics and later operated a quilt shop. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Eufaula, OK. She is survived by daughters, Becky Massengill of Cheyenne, Louanne Furlano of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Debbie Powell of Palm Springs, CA; step-children, Joyce Pittle of Riverside, CA, Cecelia Owen of Corona, CA, Cecil Sharp, Jr. of Jordan, UT and Jennie Coutier of Corona, CA; siblings, Maxine Buchanan of Batesville, AR, John Guthrie of Mesa, AZ and Richard Guthrie of Apache Junction, AZ; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil O. Sharp; father, Vaughn Guthrie; mother, Agnes Guthrie; stepmother, Leona Guthrie and brother, Dan Guthrie. Services will be Saturday 4:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Four Mile Chapel. Interment of her urn will take place in Oklahoma.
