Billy Joe Gwin passed away July 23, 2015, in Cheyenne at the age of 77. He was born September 4, 1937, in Appleton City, MO. Bill lived most of his life in Cheyenne. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Western Specialty as a machine operator and was later employed and retired from the Wyoming Tribune Eagle. In retirement, he liked to visit family and friends. He loved Wyoming and local history. He liked tinkering on cars. He is survived by mother, Wanda Romero; daughter, Linda Lou McDonald (Butch); and brother, Herman Lee Romero (Kathy). He is also survived by grandchildren, Alissa Larez, Josh Larez and Ashley McCombs; one great-grandson, Christopher Larez; and three nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Dawn Gwin; step-father, Herman Romero; brother, Myles Romero; and sister, Carolyn Navarro. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 26, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, July 27, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice.
