Bob Brunner

A memorial service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church with the Reverend Dr. J.D. Megason officiating. Cremation has taken place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Bob Brunner passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009, due to cardiac arrest. He was surounded by his family. Bob was a Cheyenne native and was very active in the community. He was born February 23, 1942 in Cheyenne. He was President and General Manager of Bob Brunner Motors for 25 years. He was involved in the Jaycees, Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, and Kiwanis. Former Governor Ed Herschler appointed Bob to the Judicial Nominating Commission. He was also on the Military Affairs Committee. Bob was CFD Parade Chairman from 1983 thru 1985 and has since been active in Buckle Club. Bob was an avid fly fisherman, hunter, and gardener. The joys of his life were his sons, Dennis and Doug, assisting them both through Scouting and enjoying the out of doors. The lights of his life were his grandchildren, Brian, Rebecca, and Benjamin. They could hardly wait for the raspberries in his garden to be ripe for the picking. Bob is survived by his wife of 43 years, Celia; son, Dennis and his wife Audrey and their children, Brian, Rebecca, and Benjamin; and son Doug, all of Cheyenne. Also surviving is his brother Doug and wife Linda. Friend who prefer may contribute to The First Congregational Church or the Cheyenne Frontier Days Scholarship Fund. 0
