Brenda Joyce Rogers passed away at Davis Hospice in Cheyenne on April 1st after a long illness. She was 70 years of age.
Brenda was born in 1954 in St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania to Albert and Pauline Dell Veneri. Not long after, the family moved to Arizona before relocating to Cheyenne in 1966 where Brenda attended East High School. It was there that Brenda met her future husband, Terry Rogers. They married shortly after high school in 1972. Together they built a life founded on love and hard work. Brenda worked in the restaurant industry most of her life. Most notable was her long career at the Flying J restaurant on I-25 where she was manager. Later she worked at Marks Motors in the office.
Brenda especially enjoyed cooking for family on holidays and special occasions. She and Terry each rode Harley Motorcycles and often rode with a group of friends. Friday evenings found Brenda at one of her favorite activities playing Bingo! Their two sons, Joshua and Jeremiah completed their family. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, her son Joshua in 2005 and her husband Terry in 2006 after 32 years of marriage. She is survived by son Jeremiah, wife Michelle, eight grandchildren and a great granddaughter whom she loved and was devoted to: Corey (Maddie), Casey, Dorian, Joshua, Novalean, Jordan, Adriana, and baby Scarlette, all of Cheyenne. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and siblings: Sandra McCollaum, Elizabeth and husband Rickey Wood,
