Mr. Calvin King Fogg, 71, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away November 20, 2014, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cheyenne. Calvin was born September 17, 1943, in Cheyenne, to Dean and Mary Fogg and grew up on the family dairy farm east of Cheyenne. Calvin was a 1961 graduate of Cheyenne High School. He met his wife, Laurell Miskimins, at the Wyoming State Fair and they were married on September 11, 1965. Calvin will be remembered as a very active member of numerous organizations, including CFD, Sheriff's Posse, and Laramie County Fair Board. He enjoyed hosting family picnics and was famous for his milk can dinners. Calvin ran the family dairy farm in Carpenter and worked for the Wyoming Air National Guard. During his national guard service, he received numerous awards and served five tours in the Persian Gulf. Calvin is survived by his loving wife, Laurell Fogg of Cheyenne; three sons, Brand Fogg and wife Renee, of Pine Bluffs, Chad Fogg and wife Kate, of Carpenter, WY, and Kory Fogg and wife Julie, of Cheyenne; a brother, Dennis Fogg of Cheyenne; two sisters, Diane Humphrey and husband, Floyd, of LaGrange, WY, and Janet Shatto and husband, Gary, of Douglas, WY; and seven grandchildren, Elijah, Madeline Grace, Hayden, Ryan, Daniel, Ellen, and Kara Fogg. He is preceded in death by his parents and three grandparents, Eunice Cornish, Ira and Ida Fogg. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue. A memory service will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 26th at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. An interment service with military honors will be held at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
