Carl E. Rhodes

Carl E. Rhodes, 96, of Cheyenne passed away October 2, 2022 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 27, 1925 in Bentonville, AR to Freddie and Myrtle Rhodes.  He married Hazel Ley on December 26, 1957 in Cheyenne.  He had worked for the railroad and later owned Rhodes Towing & Auto Salvage.

He is survived by his children, Kenneth (Vicki) Rhodes of Kellogg, IA, Cheryl Rhodes of Cheyenne and Carla Kelley of Loveland, CO; son-in-law, Harvey Wakefield of Kemmerer, WY; grandchildren, Tammie, Terry, Yolanda, Jennifer, Cody, Gene and Guy; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Rhodes, parents and siblings.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Friday October 7, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.  Cremation and interment will follow at a later date.
