Carlo Mondello, 91, of Cheyenne passed away November 29, 2017 at Granite Rehab and Wellness. He was born April 1, 1926 in Messina, Italy to Placido and Antonia Mondello. He married Solange Aronica and had been a landscaper. He served during World War II, having served in the Italian Army. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Solange Mondello of Trenton, NJ; children, Placido Mondello of Trenton, NJ, Cesare Mondello of Cheyenne, Guiseppe Mondello of Cheyenne, Antonino Mondello of Trenton, Antonella Mondello of Burlington, NJ, Andrea Mondello of Loveland, CO and Carla Lee of Key West, FL; sister, Santina Perito of Follansbee, WV and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Andrew Mondello, Joe Mondello, Antonino Mondello, Dina Arena, Josie Bordonaro and Nina DeAngeles. Cremation has taken place and private family services have been held. Services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
