Carol Fleharty

Carol Ann Fleharty, 72, of Cheyenne passed away April 13, 2019 at her home in Cheyenne. She was born August 13, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. Carol worked at various occupations including a reporter for the Stockman Farmer and was a para-legal. She was a member of American Legions Post #6 Auxiliary and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed doing beautiful hand work and sharing it with her many friends. She was an avid animal lover. She is survived by Robert Jacobs, her companion of 26 years; aunt, Evelyn Lauber; cousins, Larry & Marilyn Daniel and Rema Burger all of Missouri, and Judy & Jim Walton of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Burgess; adoptive parents, Harold and Mathilde Miller; husbands, Don Childers and Mel Fleharty. She will be sadly missed by her many close friends and church family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Visitation will be Monday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Tuesday 2:00 p.m. in the interment center at Mountain View Memorial Park.
