Carolyn Hamilton

Carolyn M. (Bottoms) Hamilton, 73, of Rawlins, Wyoming, passed away Thursday evening, February 17, 2011, at Mt. Towers Healthcare in Cheyenne. Carolyn was born August 4, 1937, in Rawlins, a daughter of the late Jack and Bertalena (Miller) Bottoms. She will be remembered as a very kind and generous person who loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She also very much enjoyed her three cats, Jasmine, Willie and Minnie. Carolyn is survived by her three children, Chris Erickson of Casper, WY, Jack Sanders of Dallas, TX, and Leigh Hansmeyer of Cheyenne; six grandchildren, Raymond Erickson, Megan Erickson, Nicole Sanders, Jessie Sanders, Shiloh Blue Hansmeyer and Carolyn “Cara” Pittenger; and her sister, Judy Wilder. At the family’s request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at the Schrader Chapel with a reception to follow at the Schrader Reception Facility. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
