Catherine Jean Jones, 64, of Casper died April 11, 2016 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne. She was born December 17, 1951 in Casper to William G. and Nona D. Fraser. She retired from the Wyoming Dept. of Transportation as a drivers license examiner. She was a member of the Trooper's Drum and Bugle Corps from 1966 to 1970 and was part of the color guard when they won the National Championship in 1970. Cathy mastered the art of sewing at a young age and carried a passion for it and fashion throughout her life. She also enjoyed traveling very much. One of her recent fondest travel memories was a trip to New York City that she made with her daughter over the Thanksgiving holiday, taking in all that the city had to offer during that time of year. She is survived by her daughter, Katie Jones of Cheyenne and a brother, Richard Fraser of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Fraser. A graveside service of her urn will be Saturday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. in Highland Cemetery. Those who wish may contribute to the Davis Hospice Center, 6000 Sycamore, Cheyenne, WY 82009. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
