Catherine Soulis

Catherine Ann Soulis, 90, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away at home on Friday, February 26, 2016. Mrs. Soulis was born May 1, 1925, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, daughter of the late Steve and Christina (Zavos) Skordas. Catherine was the wife of Nick Soulis for 53 years until his passing on November 25, 2011. She worked as a travel agent prior to starting a family, and later cared for her home and family. She was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church. While Catherine enjoyed traveling and making new friends, her greatest pleasure was being with her family. She had great charisma all through her life, and she made one think of the lines, "Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale her infinite variety." Catherine is survived by her son, John Soulis; her daughter-in-law; and her granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Athena Scarpos. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, March 7, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. p.m. at the interment center at Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery.
