Charles W. Binning, 94, of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, passed away at his home Monday morning, October 26, 2015. Mr. Binning was born December 6, 1920, in Earlville, Iowa, a son of the late Albert L. and Edythe M. (Hunt) Binning. Charles served in the United States Army during World War II as a First Lieutenant in the 325th Glider Infantry 82nd Airborne Division. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Pine Bluffs and started Binning's Dairy, and later worked as a rural mail carrier. He was involved in the VFW, the American Legion, Gate City Lodge #32 A.F. and A.M., and the Burns Chapter #47 Order of Eastern Star. He was also active in the Pine Bluffs United Methodist Church. Charles is survived by his three sons, Tom Binning and wife, Naomi, of Engelwood, CO, Scott Binning and wife, Kaye, of Cheyenne, and John Binning and wife, Ann, of Cheyenne; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and his wife of 30 years, Mearl Binning. He is preceded in death by his first wife of 40 years, Margaret Binning; his parents; a brother, Robert Binning; and a sister, Lucille Reher. A memory service with military honors will be celebrated on Friday, October 30, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with Pastor Dan DeBruyn officiating. A reception will follow at the Schrader Reception Center. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
