Charles Daily

Charles A. Daily, 83, of Cheyenne, died April 27, 2017. Charles was born in Englewood, Colorado, on May 20, 1933. He attended schools in Littleton, Colorado, where he was a member of all - state teams in several high school sports. He worked on the powder line and drove a truck for the E.I. Dupont De Nemours & Co. in Louviers, Colorado. He was a member of Teamsters Local #961, driving for NorthWest Trucking for 25 years. Charles loved watching sports especially his Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies, and the Cleveland Indians. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and golf. Charles is preceded in death by grandson, Nathan; his parents, Harry "Hi" and Lillian; and four siblings. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Melva; sons, Curt (Ginny) of Nebraska and Chuck (Debbie) of Texas; three step-children, Robert, Sandra, both of Utah, and Kristina (Ted) of Colorado; brother, Jim (Juanita) of Colorado; sister, Florence (Henry) of Colorado; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A memory service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the Schrader Reception Center. We want to thank Dr. Schneider and the CRMC - Palliative Care Team (Michelle and Victor) for their compassionate care.
