Charles H. Pardee, 86, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Life Care Center of Cheyenne. Charles was born May 24, 1930, in Bay City, Michigan, a son of the late Roland and Alma Pardee. Charles served in the United States Army as a Special Forces paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He later served as a nurse and following his honorable discharge after 25 years of faithful service, he worked as a nurse for the Veterans Administration. He loved the outdoors, particularly hunting, and he was an excellent cartoonist, drawing for Walt Disney in his earlier years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Florence (Costa) Pardee of Cheyenne; two children, Donna Ellis of Cheyenne, and Karl (Monique) Pardee, of Sioux Falls, SD; four granddaughters, Drishana, Quiana, Adriana and Giana; and one great-grandson, Hayden. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, March 10, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Thomas Cronkleton, Jr. as celebrant. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
