Charles Allen “Charlie” Weeks, who recently took back his biological name, Leo William Bilger Jr., died on November 30, 2019. He was born in Kalispell, Montana on February 25, 1954.
He survived by his sisters, Sheri (Keith) Heschke and Susan Brint; children, Charles Weeks, Christi Weeks and Stacy Weeks; grandchildren, CJ Weeks, Maddie Weeks, Alyssa Weeks and McKenzie McNeal; great-grandsons, Kory Sheafor and Brentley Henthorne; nieces and nephews, Jason (Aush) Heschke, Sheralee (Tony) Haar, and Shelly (John) Humphrey; great-nieces and nephews Krystie, Chase, and Forrest Heschke, Klayton, Shaylee, and Shelby Clark, and Kolby, Tyler, and Bryce Humphrey; and his beloved dog, Tyke.
He was preceded in death by his biological parents, Leo William Bilger Sr. and Margaret Bilger, and adopted mother Alma Weeks.
Charlie enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved racing and was a track champion during the 80’s and most recent mid-season and season champion in 2018-2019. He enjoyed NASCAR, mainly Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Jr. and the Green Bay Packers. Before moving to Cheyenne, he spent 25 years traveling to Indian pow wows where he sold blankets and toys across the states of Montana and Arizona.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 3:30 pm at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to WYHY Federal Credit Union in memory of Charlie Weeks/Leo Bilger, c/o Sheri Heschke.
