Cheryl Webster

Cheryl F. Webster, 72, of Cheyenne died March 6, 2012 in Evans, CO. She was born May 9, 1939 in Greybull, WY to Albertus and Mildred Jackson. She had been in food service and management since being a teenager. She started at Rectors as a car hop and went on to being head cook and manager at the Owl Inn for 20 years. She managed the Denny's in Greeley for 10 years, before purchasing the Driftwood Café in Cheyenne. She ran that breakfast and lunch diner for 17 years until her retirement in 2009. She attended Faith Bible Baptist Church in Greeley, CO. She was a Greeley Stampede Wrangler, and volunteered at the Cheyenne Frontier Days, Union Colony Civic Center, North Colorado Medical Center and the Pirate Radio in Greeley. She is survived by daughter, Rish (Charles) Burkholder of Evans; grandson, Jordan (Elizabeth) Burkholder of Sacramento, CA; and her loyal companion and pet, Mollie McGee. She was looking forward to being a great-grandmother in July. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Reed of Cheyenne; mother, Mildred Jackson Mennis; brothers, Albertus Jackson, Jerald Jackson and Robert Jackson. Those who wish may contribute to the Wrangler Scholarship Fund, Weld County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Bible Baptist Church, 310 35th Ave., Greeley, CO with Pastor Matt Walters officiating. Cremation has taken place at Schrader Funeral Home in Cheyenne and the final resting place of her urn will take place at Memorial Gardens in Cheyenne.
