Cheyne Michael Carter

Cheyne Michael Carter, 37, passed away Wednesday November 6th, 2024 peacefully in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He is survived by his son Colten Wesley Carter 15, daughter Kassidy Lyn Carter 6, Mother Diana Marie Voss-Myers, Father Paul Frederick Carter, Uncle John Wesley Carter, Stepfather Alan Myers, Sister Brooke Myers-Arvin, Grandmother Barbara White-Horan, 2 aunts, 1 uncle, 12 cousins and many, many friends.

  Cheyne was born in St. Augustine, Florida on April 6th of 1987. He was quite the jokester with a unique personality that would always liven up a room. He loved the outdoors, fishing, boating, traveling and hiking and mostly riding his Harley through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.  

Cheyne graduated a welding program from Tulsa Welding in June of 2012. He enjoyed the challenges of the profession chosen that ranged from pipefitting, fabrication welding, to making ship decks. He was a traveling welder, working in various states all over the U.S. as a member of UA Local 234 in Jacksonville FL from 2013 to 2019 & Pipefitter 208 Union of Denver, Colorado from 2020 to 2024.  

Services to honor Cheyne’s Life will be held in St. Augustine, Florida in the next month or so.
