Mrs. Christina M. (Sylvanus) Britten, 57, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Britten was born August 13, 1957, in Casper, Wyoming, a daughter of James A. Sylvanus and Katherine (Stallings) Sedille. Christina was self-employed as a hairdresser at Chris' Hair Port in Cheyenne. She served as a member of The Eagles and AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary. She loved the outdoors, and she enjoyed camping, cooking and helping other people. She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, sister and friend, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Christina is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Britten of Cheyenne; her mother, Katherine Sedille of Sacramento, CA; two brothers, Mike Sylvanus of Seattle, WA, and Steve Sylvanus of Sacramento, CA; and two sisters, Cindy Hamel of Cheyenne, and Susie Whitham of Napa, CA. She is preceded in death by her father, James A. Sylvanus. A celebration of Christina's life will be held by her family at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
