Christopher K. Foy, 55, passed away February 21, 2015 in Cheyenne. Chris was born November 16, 1959 in Cheyenne to William G. and Alfreda Foy. He graduated from East High School, where he lettered in football and track. Chris later joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Rome, NY with the 49th FIS, Griffiss AFB, where he was selected as the Maintenance Professional of the Year and the 388th Fighter Wing at Hill AFB in Utah. Chris returned to Cheyenne and worked as a sales representative for Big W. Supply, United Rentals and was currently employed at the Cheyenne Veteran's Affairs Hospital. He loved being outdoors, riding motorcycles, NASCAR racing and rooting for the Broncos. Known as FoyBoy, he was a champion dart thrower and attracted kids and dogs wherever he went. He is survived by his parents; brothers, Casey (Tamra) Foy of Layton, UT and John (Brenda) Foy of Casper, WY; children, Kalie Ann Childers and Andrew Foy of Cheyenne, Amy Foy and Michael Foy of Rochester, NY, and Taylor Marie Foy of Austin, TX; grandson, Gavin of Cheyenne and the love of his life LaTisha Nett and her children, Michelle, Brandon and Abby Nett. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Schrader Reception Center With Military Honors presented at noon. Dress for the celebration is casual and colorful. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
