Cindy Holmes

Cindy Marie Holmes, 58, of Wright, WY passed away May 16, 2016 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born April 8, 1958 in Scottsbluff, NE to Bill and Alice Ockinga. She was a heavy equipment operator in the mining industry and a former member of the Campbell County Fire Department. She attended the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. Cindy interests included camping, fishing, hunting, four-wheeling and loved her animals. She is survived by her mother, Alice Ockinga of Wheatland; children, William (Karri) Holmes of Carpenter, Sabrena Holmes of Wright, and Michael (Tina) Holmes of Gillette; grandchildren, Morgan, Rusty, Cody and Kadence; siblings, Karen (Matt) Valentine of Ft. Collins, Kim (John) Exon of Wheatland, Toni (Scott) Knight of Scottsbluff and Eric (JoAnne) Ockinga of Wheatland; former husband, Ron and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Ockinga. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Davis Hospice Center. Services will be Sunday, May 29, 2016, at 4:00 p.m. at the Fire Training Center in Wheatland. Cremation has taken place by Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
