Clarence was born September 13th, 1930, in Mora, New Mexico, and passed away surrounded by his family on January 20, 2025 at the age of 94. Clarence is survived by his wife Delores and, sons Anthony, Randy and daughter Judy; brother, Leroy, grandchildren Aja (Steve), Daniel (Alyx), Ashley, Taber and Angelina (Eric), several great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his daughter Roseanna who died as an infant, parents, Rosendo and Rosana Torres; brothers, Delfino, Christobal, Luis, Pat, and Joe; sisters Lucy, Lilia, Ida and Helen, his son-in-law Lloyd and daughter in-law Cathy; his in-laws Jose and Mercedes Roybal, and several beloved sisters and brothers in-laws.
After moving to Wyoming, he married Delores Maria Roybal, and they were married for 74 years. Clarence enlisted into the military where he served in the Army and fought bravely for his country during the Korean war. He did not talk much about his time during the war, other than to say what he saw and experienced was unimaginable. Clarence worked many more years and retired from the state of Wyoming. He loved talking and watching sports, building and fixing things, and he was always on hand to give any assistance and support in good and hard times. He loved fishing, taking care of his yard, and in his earlier days he loved baking. He will be loved and missed by his family and everyone who ever knew him.
Special thanks to the staff of Davis Hospice, the Cheyenne VA CRMC, especially all his nurses and doctors, along with family members who have shown so much compassion during a very difficult time and continue to do so.
