Daniel Duran

Daniel E. Duran, 77, of Cheyenne passed away on February 4, 2017 at Davis Hospice Center surrounded by his wife, Margie Duran and family. He was born April 25, 1939 in Rainsville, NM. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Cheyenne Light Fuel and Power. He was a member of Cheyenne Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Margie Duran of Cheyenne; children, Joyce (Curt) Olmstead of Cheyenne, Robert (Linda) Duran of Simi Valley, CA and Ernesto Duran of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Jennifer and Christopher Olmstead of Cheyenne, Robert, Jr. and Corey Duran of Winnetka, CA, Haley and Colt Duran of Omaha; great-grandchildren, Dayton Olmstead of Cheyenne, Fredo Duran of Omaha and Elias Ponce of Cheyenne; siblings, Maclovia Casias, Emma Buck, Mela (Will) Sandoval and Dahlia (Gilbert) Romero. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Beatrice Duran and siblings, Eleanor Martinez, Lita Lovato, Vera Apodaca, Eluide Duran and Beva Rivera. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cheyenne Church of Christ, 4770 Allen Rd. followed by a luncheon. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
