Memorial services will be held in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on 10:00 a.m. Friday April 10th at the LDS Church at 2303 Butler St. and in Sidney, Neb. at 6:30 p.m. April 14 at the LDS Church oat 486 Toledo St. Cremation has taken place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Danny Clifford Franks, Pine Bluffs passed away on April 2, 2010 He was born May 16, 1948 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Fred and Hazel Franks. He was a machinist and employed by the Union Pacific Railroad He married Annette Rae Dimmitt on June 23, 1984 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of Vietnam. He belonged to the Church of Latter Day Saints. He also belonged to many organizations including the Masons, Elks, Body Scout Master and Union Pacific Employee Club President in Sidney, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife, Annette Franks in Burns, Wyoming; son, Seth Franks of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming; daughter, Mariah Franks of Dix, Nebraska and one granddaughter RaeLynn Ward of Dix, Nebraska. He is also survived by two brothers, Fred Franks of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Steven Franks of Titusville, Florida. He was preceded by his parents Fred and Hazel Franks. Cremation has taken place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Those who wish may contribute to the Arbor Day Foundation at 100 Arbor Avenue, Nebraska City, Nebraska 68410
