Darrell Kenneth Peterson

Darrell Kenneth Peterson (78) of Cheyenne, Wyoming died suddenly on Saturday, February 11th, 2023.

Darrell was born on January 27th, 1945, in Denver, Colorado, to Kenneth L. Peterson and Margaret K. Peterson.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Dianne, and his sister Marlene Smith. He is survived by his two sons Damon and Darren, his daughter-in-laws Renee and Heather, grandchildren Harley, Jared, Jason, and Darah, and a great-grandson Aiden.

He married his high school sweetheart, Dianne, in 1965, who he is now joyously reunited with in the loving arms of the Lord Jesus Christ.  

Shortly after moving to Cheyenne Wyoming in 1976, Darrell left his career at IBM to start a Christian book store called Father Abrahams.   After selling the bookstore in the late 1990’s, he serviced hospital equipment for several years before retiring.

He enjoyed taking long drives through the mountains, studying the Bible, watching western movies, and going fishing.  He was also passionate about cars and motorcycles and loved spending time with his family. 

Family and friends are invited to an open house memorial at his home at 236 Prairie Hills Dr in Cheyenne, WY on Friday February 24th, 2023 from 2pm to 6pm.
